Costume:
All performers must follow the attire guidelines below — both during performances and all official SOAR activities, including open stage time & workshops.

Costumes must be age-appropriate and suitable for the performer's level.

NO two-piece costumes allowed.

NO exposed midriffs — tops must fully cover the torso at all times.

Bottoms must provide full coverage, equivalent to a standard leotard.

Unitards or biketards with tights are strongly recommended to protect from burns.

NO jewelry that could harm apparatus such as: necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches, ankles, dangly earring

Small stud earrings are allowed.

Warm-up gear must follow the same rules as performance attire. No sports bras, crop tops, or exposed midriffs during open stage or workshops

Failure to follow SOAR’s Attire Policy — during performance or warm-ups — will result in 10 point deductions or lead to disqualification.
Props:
· No use of live props, such as animals or people during a routine. No dangerous or destructive props such as fire, water, knives, guns, swords, glitter, confetti, paint, etc.
· Props may be used in all categories. When choosing a prop, ensure prop set and removal is under 15 seconds total
Music:
All music must be family-friendly and appropriate for all audiences.
Music Content That is NOT Allowed:

Songs with sexually suggestive themes or any explicit content

Music containing curse words or crude language (radio versions with curse words may not be accepted)

If inappropriate music is used, the entry may face a: 10 point deduction (or) disqualification, at the discretion of SOAR staff and judge

Time Limits:
Competitive Solo/Duet (1-2) 3 Minute Maximum
Advance Solo/Duet (1-2) 3.5 Minute Maximum
Elite Solo/Duet (1-2) 4 Minute Maximum
Trio (3) 4 Minute Maximum
